Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero was an American singer and model from the United States. Kotero was also a co-star in Prince's 1984 movie Purple Rain. Her most well-known role was co-starring in the film of Prince's Purple Rain and for having been the lead singer of the group of girls Apollonia 6. Apollonia was christened as an actress and singer by Prince. Through the 1980s Apollonia was one of numerous artists who benefited from Prince. The actress was born Patricia Kotero in Santa Monica California in 1959, her professional career began as a model actress by the end of the '70s with a role on the television show CHiPS. The female lead of Prince's Purple Rain was her first part that she played in the year the year 1984. Prince changed the girl's name during this time. The actress replaced Vanity with the female trio Vanity 6 to perform in the film with Apollonia 6 replacing Vanity.
