Jana Kramer became famous on the television show, playing Alex on One Tree Hill's finale for the last three seasons. Jana Kramer's first country releases were featured on episodes of One Tree Hill which helped propel her debut album in 2012 to in the Top 20 in the Billboard 200. Thirty One, her follow-up album, released in 2015, climbed the Top Ten. Her decade culminated with participation for Dancing with the Stars. Released in 2021 was The self-doubting Voices. Jana Rae Kramer was born and raised within Rochester Hills Michigan. She grew up listening to the country genre, and eventually went on to explore a career in recording. However, she began her acting career as a teenager in 2002's indie horror film Dead/Undead. Following a couple of guest appearances in All My Children or CSI: NY, Kramer landed Noelle Davenport's recurring role in NBC Friday Night Lights in the 2nd season, 2007-2008. Kramer was later cast to portray Portia Ranson in 90210 (2008-2009) and Brooke Manning, in Entourage (2009) prior to when she was cast in One Tree Hill by the CW as Alex Dupre. Kramer remained with the One Tree Hill team until half way through its last season (2012). Jana Kramer Kramer began her career as a performer on One Tree Hill in 2011. The actress signed a contract to Elektra Records during this time and dropped the country-rock single "I I Won't Let You Go" during one episode. It was later included on Jana Kramer, her debut album that debuted in 2012. The track ranked fifth on Billboard Top Country Albums. She remained focused on her career in music afterward, she did not stop acting. she appeared in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 and Country Crush 2016 that would be popular with her fan base. Kramer's second album Thirty One, was released by Warner Music Nashville by Kramer in October of the year 2015. It was a Top Five Country Hit I Got the Boy, and the Duet Steven Tyler and Aerosmith performed with helped it to reach third place at the top of the Billboard 200 and number 10 on the charts for country albums. Beginning in September of 2016 she stayed for two months in the 23rd season of Dancing with the Stars, and finished with an overall fourth position. The singer also had an adult contemporary hit in the form of Feels like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
